IMPORTANT: Available Jan 31–Oct 15. To file by April 15, start by April 1 and submit documents by April 8. To file by Oct. 15, start by Oct. 1 and submit by Oct. 8. If these document deadlines are missed, view our self-filing option.

You’ll be redirected to GetYourRefund.org, the secure platform we use for virtual tax preparation. There, you’ll create an account and upload your tax documents. Once all required documents are received, a certified VITA tax preparer will prepare your return and contact you to review it.

  • No rental income (from a property you own)
  • Did not file for bankruptcy last year
  • Had no cancellation of debt outside of non-business credit cards
  • No clergy income
  • If married, are filing jointly
  • If self-employed, no business related expenses over $35,000 or businesses with employees, inventory, business property, net loss, or depreciating assets
  • No sales of cryptocurrency
